Just a few quick snaps of Road/Sewer/River tiles being worked on at the moment. Will be including 'T' and '+' intersections, along with dead ends. Packs will include a number of each, or can be bought as individuals. Stay tuned...
I am very interested in the Battleframe system. I can immediately see how it could be used to make an urban environment, or a reasonably flat natural surface. What is holding me back is the question of making hills and natural features that are larger than a single tile, but still modular. I would be very interested in seeing your ideas, tips and hints.
Certainly one of the big (and not far away) steps for us is introducing the range of tiles that accommodates exactly what you have asked about. Natural, rolling terrain. It's in the works, due to be released soon, and we see many projects in the wind for these type of tiles, such as country side hills, outskirts of city landscapes changing into urban environments (all on the one table), and even beach heads for Normandy style landings/assaults. stay tuned... !!!
this is all looking very good as far as a modular system goes. and i can see it all working very well for certain environments. the one thing that is niggling at me though is that this is all straight, with solid corners. because of this i'm not too sure how well it will sit with rivers as they are highly curved.
these are definutely a good basis to work from, i personally see these sewer/river pieces good for sitting foam terrain into, and i look forward to seeing what you'll have later down the lines.
